Sample Chopping
ill rip vinyl with soundforge then chop up the sections that i need, usually 16 bar loops so i can autochop in my daw to my pads, whem something isn't going to come out nicely i send it to recycle and use that to make it a rex with custom chops. i have bomes midi translator rigged up to my audio... -

you have to assign the midi channel or whatever for sampletank in the fruity wrapper options or whatever then you add a "Midi Out" from the fl studio vst list and set the options on the midi out channel it adds to have the same midi channel as or input or whatever as you assigned for sampletank... -

Drums - how to sort them?
i have like 80 gigs of unsorted samples and if im bored not making a beat ill usually sort samples, if i like the sound and find it useful i will give it a prefix like SN for snare and name it with the first thing that comes to my mind to describe it, it could be SN-crunch or SN-crocodile... -
