Alright guys, i've been wanting to go with some more hardware, and since i got some extra cash from my job lately i've been thinkin about expanding my setup. The problem is I have no idea what I actually need when it comes to a mixer/audio interface/soundcard or whatever. In the end, I want to have my midi controllers (keyboard and drum pad) work with an MPC1000 (i have yet to purchase) and be able to track out from the MPC to cubase, and still be able to transfer data to my mpc from the computer. This is all possible, right? Oh, I also need my turntable hooked up so I can sample from that to my MPC. Now do I need a special soundcard for this? Or a mixer or audio interface? Both? All Three? Any help on what I need to make this possible, and the best gear to buy would help alot. Sorry, I know some people don't like questions like this, but I guess this is an opportunity for gear-nerds to flex some knowledge. haha whatever just kidding, any help is appreciated!
