    i know this is an old thread but question: with the new 'slice to midi' feature, why does it not keep my warping?.. like ill warp the audio track and then when i slide to midi the audio sample reverts to its origional state. wtf?..how do i sort that out?

    one of the best EQ's ive messed with is the one on logic. so you could reWire your ableton into that and take advantage of its EQ. alternatively, there are many other vst's you can download if you dont have logic. however none of them stick out in my mind as 'MPC sounding'... not really sure...

    if your willing to sit on ableton before hand and beat warp all the tracks your planning to play then naw... no problems... however if you leave it to live and rely on its own automatic beat warping you could be in for a couple of suprises. as most times its far from perfect. . .
