this thing looks bad! ... if this thing does like it says it can do i might swap my 4k with this... it got a real analog synth thats the same one as the prophet 80 by dave smith attached to it ..and i believe it samples too... and its made by the king of drum machines roger linn... anybody know anything about this? dreampolice??? really looking it at the only way i wouldnt cop this is if it had wack sampling features... if u can do the chromatic thing im sold. and to top it i heard it was going to be about $1800 !!!! seems like a no brainer to me. it looks slightly cheesy but if its reliable im def gonna cop it when it comes out

Very cool looking, my only complaint is the screen looks small, BUT heck it does sample and uses CF card memory, as well as USB it looks like so really looks like they took the best from the best machines and are putting them in this!

^^ yeah im pretty hyped about this one ... i hope im not dissapointed ... the mpc60 and 3000 were the two roger linn models and those two have the meanest swing so im feelin that this bad boy is gonna have that same swing.

its not out yet. Trust me I am following this one close. All the pictures you see are just 3d renders. Is was going to be called "BoomChik" ha ha. Should be out this year, thats all I know. It will rock.

its a drumcomputer, hold on to your mpc4k...im not very impressed with the synth side of the unit although the features are very good im am imo not a fan of the sound but who am i as i dont think cats really couldnt give a flying f#!*.

it loads from ram which can be extended by removable devices (flash), so turn on and drum right away

again...its not aimed at phrase sampling but i guess it would sequence them nicely so if you're like me and build libraries instead of beatmaking rightaway then you'd be comfortable working with the sequencer.
