i am not trying to persuade anyone NOT to vote, merely stating MY stance on why i dont... .i say everyone needs to d owhat they feel convicted to do, but i am not buying what the media is selling on either side of the coin, personally.

yeah yo .. carlyle and halburton? i think is the other big cats... i just watched farenheit 911 a couple days ago.. that was the main shit i found fucked up and definately the overall theme i think... and what funny is i seen all these cats speaking bad about the ft. 9/11 shit and the dude who wrote michael moore is a big fat white man, and all of them saying it was straight propaganda and shit.. none of them even talk about all the crazy business ties and all the money the bush family sr and jr are making as well as alot of people in Bushs administration.... i watched an hour long speech by that author all anti-michael moore picking out falsehoods in ft 9/11 and not once could he even touch on these businesss ties that are AT LEAST a conflict of intrest .. some guy in the audience asked that question and he dodged it and said bush sr is making the majority of the money and he is out of office so its not so much a conflict... and he basically dodged the question... its just real depressing that we are just taking this bullshit ... and people in power are letting this shit go on.. seriously watching 9/11 made me feel prety hopeless about shit ever changing for the better politically... and i'm pretty content not to vote and to just say fuck it....

Word, we've had numerous documentaries on dutch tv on how things in the US work and I've always took into consideration that these docu's would never be broadcasted in the US while they're topnotch and heavily revealing issues that are so obviously wrong it would convince a nation to make te right vote unless you're an utter retard. To be honest, I havent seen 911 or other Moore stuff, I did read some articles before the great Moore hype and I've seen bowling for columbine. But I simply didnt think 911 or fahrenheit would show me anything I didn't know or suspected. It's just all to obvious. As for what Carlyle concerns, it consist of the hawks of the white house, bush senior and the boardcouncil contains various powerfull industry captain from around the globe with a single interest. So far I've seen Bush sr. try to push through bombs and military vehicles into defence budgets but it got noticed and stopped, but this is the game we're talking about. With Bush in power or anyone for that matter from his wing, you can be sure that the main interest it to create revenue by adapting the laws because than he can make his daddy happy. Berlusconi is doing the same damn thing, but on a smaller scare, Poetin too and probably much more, but Carlyle's board is by far the most impressive and dangerous because they're succesfull already. If Bush gets an additional 4 years you can be sure that we're talking about a new world order, because they decide economy and rule above law since they make it and they'll pretty much make all the effort to make it seem legal or just legal. In any case, the shit is all wrong and we all know it, people who neglect these facts are either republican or the blind, happy consumers who do anything to protect them from the right of buying and having a gun.

kerry WAS PRO WAR PEOPLE. HE STOOD BEHIND BUSH UNTIL IT WAS TIME TO RUN AGAINST HIM.
ya'll are actin like this guy is the fucking savior and dont be suprised IF he wins and our troops are still there a year from now.....

Kerry was actaully NOT pro war....don't get all heated on me but u haven't been following the whole thing or listening carefully....I'm Canadian, therefore not eligable to vote, and even I know this....U need to do some research, don't just listen to the media, bush and pro-bush commercials because they are all bullshit, and completely biased. YES, AMERICAN MEDIA IS BIASED!!! Sometimes for one party, sometimes for the other, but regardless they all bend the truth or neglect to give you important information...

Kerry DID vote for the bill for the war. But the bill was NOT, I REPEAT, NOT a bill to go to war. The bill just gave Bush the freedom to make the choice to go to war after all else fails. Bush said before introducing the bill, that he would do everything in his power NOT to go to war, and only make the decision as a last resort, after all peaceful measures had been taken....Unfortunately Bush did not seek all peaceful measures of resolving the conflict, did not give the UN weapons inspectors enough time to find the weapons, and pretty much just jumped the gun and made the call....Kerry was pro-president, no pro-war. Kerry believed the president needed to be able to make that choice if it all came down to it, that's all....It's doesn't mean he was pro war

Without getting into the whole oil thing that Bush has a vested interest in, I personally believe that Bush wanted to be remembered. I think he wanted to go down in history as the man who went to war, because we all know, wartime presidents get honored and remembered the most...Obviously there are plenty of reasons and I could speculate for hours, but I honestly think that was definately one of his many reasons to go to war

Now don't think I'm pro-Kerry. As I said earlier in this thread, I think they both suck. The whole system sucks, and nothing will change without the system changing. A bipartisan system is retarted. What sucks is it will probably never change, or at least won't for a looooong looooong time. If any of y'all ever dreamed you would be president or a revolusionary and want to change the world, THAT would definately do it, and for the better....Think about it for a second

kerry has made SEVERAL statements regarding the war and was VERY VOCAL in his support of the war.

EVEN WHEN WE WENT TO WAR. until when? his nomination.

records are kept of these things in the senate......

like i dont know the media is biased? even the dumbest person knows that, and the american media- unless its fox- has been pretty damn biased towards kerry/against bush.....

and as far as gettin heated..... there has been nothing to get heated over, i dont know where that came from, i have no issue.

Bush will only be president if you don't go out and vote for Kerry. What you're saying is just dumb. If everybody who thought their vote didn't mean shit went out and voted for a single candidate, that person would win for sure. How can you say your vote means nothing when you can make that happen. Especially after the florida elections 4 years ago, which was the closest in history i believe, everybody knows that when you add up enough single votes (like the ONE you would cast), that does mean something. How're you gonna fight the power in a system that you don't even vote in. We all have the ability to change the system. That's what part of the system is -- the chance to change it if we don't like where its going. Right now nobody but the elites and the dumb like where its going. So, If everybody in the country were politically active, the system would change. Go vote. Don't be stupid

Don't be STUPID!?!? Man look, the last election shows that your vote or mines dont mean shit. The Government WILL put in who they decide. By giving you the "Right to Vote" makes people like yourself(Brainwashed) confident in our system when thetruth is we are drones fluxiating tax dollars. Thats all. We are just numbers and nothing else. Why can't we vote for War? Now that would make sense right, but will never happen. Do you honestly think that the Government of the USA,,,the most Powerful Country in the World will let the people decide who will be the leader of the free will??? C'mon dude,,,,sometimes ya gotta take a step back and look from the outside in. I'm not stupid, actually far from it my friend. I choose not to conform to such political bullshit and live with a free.

and for the record,,,I never saw farenheight 911

would you rather that we didn't have the right to vote. It's a privelege that many countries haven't had. You take for granted a lot of shit like the fact that you actually can oppose the bullshit (which I agree with you in) and not be thrown in jail for it. And since Bush has been in office, it's even debatable if we are still the most powerful country in the world. Economically, which is what really makes the difference, China is growing like no country ever has. They are fast approaching the most economically powerful country in the world, and with all the people they have, they have a huge force in the market. I agree that the system is flawed, but what would you really have. Come up with one idea that would work that hasn't been tried. The ideal would be to have a completly enlightened ruler who made all choices to the benefit of each individual. But that is impossible and will never happen. So at the time being, what we have is what's developed over thousands of years of political change. So you should appreciate it and participate in it. Thats all. Our leaders are not out to ruin us all. You're being a little extreme on that.

No offense, but the reason that those terrorist countries, which Iraq is not, oppose Western culture so much and have become so extreme and militant is because of you wanting to go to Iraq and order a Big mac and fries. The corporate takeover and globalization has ruined so many cultures in pursuit of an extra buck. Would you really go to a place like Iraq and go to McD's anyway? I personally would feel ashamed to be an American if I went to Mcdonalds in Iraq instead of seeing the culture. Our greed is what's going to get us in trouble. People don't want everything they own to have a corporate stamp on it. People need culture and people want freedom, not corporate slavery. That's what they oppose, and that's what you want to turn their country into.

U NOT LOOKING AT THE BIG PICTURE. GET UR HEAD OUTTA THE GUTTER. THE WORLD IS EVOLVING. THE UNITED STATES IS THE NEW WORLD ORDER. PLACES IN POVERTY ARE TOMMORROW'S PROJECTS. I MEAN PROJECTS. AS IN SCIENCE PROJECTS. THEN WHO KNOWS. MAYBE THEY WILL BECOME URBAN PROJECTS LIKE WE HAVE OVER HERE. I SEE MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF JUNGLE BEING TORN DOWN AND IN THEIR PLACE A MECCA OF CITIES. AND CITIES WILL HARVEST THEIR OWN JUNGLES WITHIN URBANIZED GREENHOUSES.

THE MIDDLE EAST IS A PROJECT. ITS LIKE A GHETTO. THE UNITED STATES IS CENTER CITY. THE MIDDLE EAST IS THE BAD LANDS. THE UNITED STATES WANTS TO MAKE THE WORLDS APPEARANCE BETTER BY MAKING THE GHETTO MORE SOCIABLE, MORE LIKABLE, MORE WILLING TO DO BUSINESS (OIL) WITH OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD (CITY). THE WORLD IS ONE BIG ORGANISM AND WHEN ONE PART SUFFERS IT REFLECTS BADLY ON THE MAIN ARTERY (UNITED STATES). SO WHEN PEOPLE IN THE MIDDLE EAST START COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW THEY WERE EXILED AND HOW THEY HAD TO FLEE THE MIDDLE EAST. THE UNITED STATES TOOK CONTROL AND IS NOW IN POSITION TO REFURBISH THE MIDDLE EAST INTO A MORE WESTERNIZED AREA.

NUFF SAID.
