MPC 1000 timestretch
THeres no way to correct it. Thats what happens when u stretch a sample usually more then 10 bpm or so. The flanging sound is a coloration that occurs due to information needing to be added or taken away from the new sound file in order for it to be stretched longer or shorter. -
MPC and Protools question
Yeah man, fo sho. The nice thing when u track into yer DAW is that you can EQ/EFFECT/Whatever you wanna do to each sound once its in yer software. :) -

You can only use Midi Time Clock to sync the computer and the mpc together so that they can talk to one another. Plus, the track has to already be composed before u track into the computer. Ive read about many people doing it on the mpc forums. You can apparently fit up to 80 gigs confirmed in there. I dunno how inclined id be to sift through 80 gigs on that load window tho through the mpc??? But its a good option. -

Best way to save songs mpc1000?
I suggest making a folder tree first where u have a folder for BEATS and then one for SOUNDS. File management is just as important on the mpc as it is on the computer when making music. Inside the BEATS folder make another folder for each beat with whatever name u choose. Then when u go to... -

You have to go into params of the prgm that you plan to change and set each pad to MONO. then set each one to a mute group. (like mute group 1). Think of it this way since this is basically the definition: MONO = 1 Voice, or only 1 voice can sound at a time, so if you play the same sound on... -

Sometimes, if ya just got mad record static before the sample it may seem like that too until u actually arive at where the sample starts.... -
trigger finger or mpd16...
Id def cop a mpd-24 now that its out....I have a trigger finger it gets the job done but the pads feel cheap in comparison to mpc pads....Plus if you can set the velocity curve on the pads like u can do on the trigger then thats all you need to do once you get it if they arent sensitive enough.... -

I dont think sounds are really a issue unless its regarding the sound created from the subtractor or the malstrom.....Attaining good drum sounds and samples is kinda part of the game as a producer so i dont consider that as a downfall existing in the prgm....I mean, even the mpc comes with... -
