    ohh, i didnt know that.(i really didnt) but mod, if you like rap, gza is your style. If you dont listen to him because you never had the chance go get one of his albums. There all good, but i suggest "Beneath The Surface" (1999 MCA Records).

    I like 'em all. I use 'em all too. You can' always use the same kind because certain one's sound better at different times. But my favorite would be the Cypress one you talking about.

    Assignable Outs on MPC for better mix

    Could somebody tell me how this this works? Do you assign the bass and kicks to one, snares and hi-hats to another, guitar/piano to another, etc, then mix? How does this work?

    One thing ive seen about 'Ems's beats is that there pretty simple and to the point. Meaning: They dont take away from the artist. Meaning: He's proving that you dont need real hot beats to sell an/or have people listen. Yea Wings! LEAD THE MOVEMENT!!!!

    I dont know if bigd already said this cuz i dont have time to read his reply, but my favorite trick to singin vocals is: You get the finished vocals, you assign the vocals to three different channels, and you put the first panned hard left. Put the second dead center, and the third panned...

    If anybody's heard both of these songs, they sound like almost the same sample in the back. Knock Knock is form GZA if you didnt know. And Clapback is from Ja Rule, but go check those out. I just got the GZA's most recent LP, i love it, but i was lisenin and i heard that.

    How to do this?

    Delay, On acid4, you have a program-in-a-program, and it counts the bpm of everything you have in the track and matches 'em up. I think its called timekeeper, but i forget. I havent used that program in a while.

    Em was makin the beats for D12 a while ago. Its not like he just started. Theres a couple of D12 mixtapes you can find with no eminem on it. Thats because he was doin the beats. I know what BigD is sayin, and its true, but Em's been makin beats before he had all that.

    it looks like the 1000 isn't as portable and/or easy to use on the go as they make it look, if you dont have a laptop.

    I think you can argue both points though. I do agree with you a little bit, but if you give Jermaine Dupri hot sounds, and you give Just Blaze some wack sounds, whos beat is gonna be hotter? Just Blaze's.
