    newbie turntable question

    The 500II's are okay, but not for scratching. They're not made for scratching and the needle breaks after a while (no lie). The craze (520SK) is hot. That's my favorite for the price, but if you want one that will last you about as long as you want it to, get the Shure M44-7.

    I have one. Its not half as good as that one you posted. I dont like it as much as the real thing. Its cool cuz you can press next track and it will go to it by itself, but its not real good. Mine isnt real new so that could be part of the problem. I dont care though.

    Ive only used the reel2reel's with 2 channels. But ive seen the ones with more channels then that. I wanna try one some time. Id rather use tape then a hard-drive.
