    I am missing something... Nothing against anyone who finished in the top 5, but from what I see Asaph Music Pro & NONONSENSEBEATS have zero votes, but still made it into the top 5... joeburnem, hardboiled & huggyHG had 2 votes each and didn't make it into the top 5... Whats up with that?

    Wowzers!!! :eek: There were some nice beats in this one!!! I agree... It seemed like Jen could've used a few more instruments/sounds, but was definitely right on point with the theme. @Chordly & @Wazeer Shah Ya'll had some of my favorite beats in this one. Good job to all!

    2 Questions... 1) Do we have to use keys that have a similar "sound" as a Rhodes, or could we use a "basic" piano and just play a smooth melody/progression? 2) The rules say only that occasional vocal snippets are OK... but, can we submit a beat that uses a 4 bar vocal snippet that is repeated...

    Yea, but I even had problems with parts of the verse not lining up right... Started chopping things up to get things to line-up the way I wanted, but didn't have the patience for that lol, so I found another acapella that I used, that synced up ALOT better... but the audio sounds terrible...

    Whatcha Listening to? Thats not Hiphop...

    What have you guys been listening to, maybe for inspiration, other than hiphop/rap? Could be new, could be old... Just whatever... I been listening to some of the new Gary Clark Jr. album... There are some good songs on the album that span a few genres. Here's one of the more "rockin" songs...
