sure some of the sounds in those banks are alright but you also need to be sampling your own drums. by sampling your own you develop an individual sound and also it is really good practice sampling drums. In the hunt for good hits you often stumble accross some other great samples too. -

i understand what you mean but you need to be thinking about the MC when your making your track. even if you dont have a particular 1 in mind you should be planning chorus and verse length as well as drum breaks and breakdowns. then when the MC does his thing you can modify the beat to match his...
