i use cubase to master my shit. like rbenea said your need a multiband compressor tryn get hold of a waves bundle. the C4 multiband comp is not too bad n will do the trick. you also should tryn use a multiband eq. again the waves bundle has the q4 which is aight. its important to practise... -

the advantage of choppn up loops is that you can make your own patterns. it will help individualize your tracks and you can also affect each kik and snare differently. different compression different filters etc. you gotta practice choppn single hits. tryn find hits without other shit playing... -
