Yo duece, what type of monitors are those?
Well that Edirol is firwire and so u can use it on other computers too, the EMU isnt mobile like that....Its got a pci slot and then the breakout box.....I would consider what u want to do with it first?....The EMU is cool tho and so far no problems, tho i do wish the Mic Pre had more oomph.....I still need to test out phantom power on it tho.....aside from the fact my mic is pure shit, so i cant be the ultimate judge,......Im saving up to get pads instead since my emcees missing in action anyways.

i remember a while back sum1 posted a thread talkin about show yur seteup. and everyone posted pics of their seteup. my setup then was fruity loops anda midi controller. since my setup now is much diffrent i figured id update and if anyone else has gotten new shit since then ,show it off

yeah the mpcs great , much funner for me than when i use to use fruity loops, i remember a lot frustration in them days, and no i dont spin left handed , i dont spin at all, the turntable is just to sample off vinyls.

@ Bastard...the mpc vs FL is different person to person. Depending on how comprehensive you are of FL...its REALLY easy..fast..productive and hands on with midi.
Right now I JUST use Ableton Live...but the mpc wouldnt "hurt"

HAHA....yeah man, i copped that piece-a-shit from walmart , i just never attached that little computer shelf. lol..though i must say for how cheap it was, its a great desk....It starts to bowe tho when u got the monitors and the screen all up there on the top shelf, things made out of composite board for fucks sake!! haha

FL Studio 5 Producer Edition (sample chopping, audio tracks, and beat making)
Audacity (edit samples-mp3s and wavs)
Not too elaborate but it does the job and then some.
