    YEAH. you definitely have to get a zip drive or hard drive for the asr. and its easy to chop shit in it. even with the small screen. or else you can transfer to the computer and chop in recycle

    a dat is a Digital Audio Tape. its not a file type. you'll need a dat tape deck to record your stuff on. pretty much any studio should a dat deck. if thats what she was talking about. i know there are .dat files but those are data files used by windows i think
