HAve u tried Choppin That Acapella? U can chop off that breakdown that throws ur beat off and just take the pieces that fit in and take off the ones that dont

i would load the instrumental like u were loading a recording session in protools or cakewalk.
then in a separate track i would load the acapella, you cant rely on the bpm, u gotta trust your ear, if it sounds right then it sounds right.chop the acapella where needed, if u have to do too much choping, then u may have to tweak thebpm but for the most part your ear wont lie to you.

*as long as u have common sense.

what he said. just either chop out space between lines or add space between lines to get the words on beat. just make sure you start with the right bpm or one close to it

yup, chopping

keep listening to the original song, and where the snares hit, match that with your acapella ontop of the beat. i usually have to do a lot of chopping, cutting/pasting lil bits to make the snares hit on the exact places. it takes time, but its worth

btw, what jayz acapellas? the black album? or other ones. if they are other ones, let me know and we can trade or something

Well, Im kinda late in the comments there...

Sometimes, producers change the tempo of a beat (normally speeding it a bit) for effect...

so what you could do is chopping and automatisation. I dont know if that's the exact term, I'm not home), but that means that you can ask fruity to make some changes on the fly, while the beat is playing (like making the knobs turn and all)

You can split the beat in 3 parts
- before the break
- the break and, you guessed it
- after the break
After that, you can change the bpm, so it fits in all the parts of the song... you could actually find the tempo for each sections...
