on fruityloops, there used to be a feature back int he day where EVERYONE who was online could upload a project and all work on the same thing and re upload, it was pretty cool hearing your song get worked on!
650 bucks?
OK if I had the cash and im guessing you have a bare computer right?
I would get "Hardware" wise because the "software" is so acessable with out fees today,
a MIDI CONTROLER, basicly a midi keyboard or pad or both(the new korg is nice) for your musical input and a decent pair...
Ok, If you own a MPD, you use the program that came with it and set it to a midi effect channel, so like you could change it from panpot to volume to fade, etc. it's handy if your own keyboard controler does not have any knobs or faders
Yeah, it's supposed to be the equiv, I have a mpc and I have battery and I have battery, Ill take a MPD16(mpc pad) and battery over it anyday! it's a very lethal computer wise, It even loads AKAI format to which is awsome.
There are major diferences, 4000 is a dream compared to the later models, It can come with a hard drive, 512mb of ram i belive and it's 24bit quality of playing samples(compared to the 16bit 2000) and even a CD burner. it's just a major update in todays world of music now
Headphones wise, I fuck with the sony studio monitors "MDR-VD300" But the down side is they break easy :( and I have bought like 5 pair of them because i broke them so many times :( But its worth it, I love em and they sound the best. its aroung 50 bucks
yeah, Im putting togther my own sample cd which I will be giving out for free for a short while, pm me about that if your intrested, It's only AKAI format
