    Really just depends on your sessions tho. If your sessions are typically FX heavy with a span of anywhere from 25-50 tracks then you really will benefit from additional RAM. Ive worked on 512mb to QuadCores and theres a significant difference.

    Word, real good comment LDB. Using an Analyzer on the Master Buss is just as useful since your viewing everything together rather then one source at a time, theres a use for both obviously.

    Shit i already forgot about this thread.... Everybody pretty much already answered your question earlier in regards to knowing what frequencies to remove. LDB added a good comment as well in regards to using an Analyzer. If your only working in Reason then there is no way to see the frequencies...

    Word, like LDB said, your drums, bass, and vocal are your power structure so you need to mix around those elements once you get them hittin right first. Samples can be much trickier then synth stuff since theres going to be artifacts in the samples that often conflict with existing frequencies...

    Regardless, you can make whatever u want into a ringtone if you got about five minutes with the method i wrote above. I got 6 of my beats as ringtones on my shit. I just couldnt stand downloading crap I didnt want to hear anyways.
