    Wouldnt you consider EQ and Ducking to help Identify the meshing between each kick and the bass? I mean if the freq intertwine within each other then you are definitly going to want to consider compression and ducking to keep them from smashing into each other for a balanced mix.

    ^^^^ Save your sessions onto your Computer, but copy your sessions to the external for backup. That way if somthing happens to your comp. You just copy and paste the session from your external to your Computer again.

    ^^^^^^ Reason isnt a program that supports plugins. You should use Live, PT, Cubass etc. to rewire with Reason and use Reason as the VSTI. Anything from Maudio is affordable and works great. http://www.sweetwater.com/c513--M-Audio--Keyboard_Controllers

    Are you sure the audio wires are connected to the mixer? Flip the rack around by pressing "tab" and make sure the wires are routed.
