Hook your table into protools to record, chop the sample in recycle, then use it in reason. Looks like you got all the tools you need right there.

Nice flip manguino I loved the keys in this sample and I'm glad to see somebody else use em and those unquantized drums sounded good maby a touch sloppy in a spot or 2 but that just makes it human. Overall a good bluesy flip.

    Warning for Beatrader users

I've never sold a beat online or even tried... Prolly cuz of stuff like this but there's just something in handing a beat over face to face with someone and getting a wad of cash in your palm. That just seems better to me then some #'s on a paypal account. Anyways, sorry to hear about that...

how do u name your tracks?

If you got more than 200 beats in your folder maby you should start selling some haha. No but seriously, yeah I'd prolly just go with making more folders till everything is organized to your liking and adding the bpm to the end of the name is a good idea. I personally like giving names to...

do u have an artist in mind when u start a production?

When I make a beat I never have an artist in mind. When an artist is feelin a beat and spits lyrics over it I'll modify the beat with the artist in mind. The only time I made some beats for an artist was when I was doing the majority of tracks for his disk. It never got finished tho cuz dude...

how do u name your tracks?

Well, I name all my beats with regular names and that's it. If it's east coast dark I'll have all of those type beats in a east coast folder. So if an artist wants a specific style you just gotta open the right folder.

    Sampling Country.... (Not Really)

Yeah, that's better I feel u now thanks for clearing it all up. Actually, I was kinda realizing when I started trying to chop up a country sample that no matter what genre of music a sample is from during the creation of a beat it's made into what we know and love as hip hop. I'll try posting...

    Sampling Country.... (Not Really)

Allright, I was followin what you were saying up till... I dunno if it's just me but i read that several times and couldn't put the words to thought. I've never been strong with words and that's why I make beats and not rap so that one blew right past me. Sorry man could you try and...

The Music That Ate the Planet

It's kinda funny but for me now a days I gotta go diggin in the crates for good hip hop I like. I think alot of the newer stuff lost me at go spend all your money on flashy rims before investing it toward a better life. I don't know if it's just me but alot of that stuff makes me tired... I...

    Sampling Country.... (Not Really)

I know every genre has it's good and classic songs and when I started this thread it wasn't my intention to trash country or sampleing it. I was more curious if it had been pulled off well before just because all the country i've ever heard didn't sound very good to use as samples at least for...

    Sampling Country.... (Not Really)

Ok, I've read many posts here and there where someone will say "I'd even sample country music".... But what I really want to hear is an actual track using country samples... Has this ever been done succesfully? I know this is a kinda stupid post but I really want to know... Hell, I'm even up...

    Headphone Wires

For this I'm thinking maby you could get an extention so when you walk over to your booth you can just plug em in at that spot. I don't know what your layout is but that's prolly a good idea if you're stretchin your cord out alot and trippin ppl when you're in the booth.

    Headphone Wires

haha... this happens to me often enough and unfortunately there is no quick way out other than starting from the tip and unravel it all till you get to the phones... yup that's about how it's done... Peace. Oh and if you get some of those zip things the cops use to arrest folks you can use...
