    Dirty Drums...

    Stack your drums... layer like 5-10, eq, compress... you also gotta remember that their projects are mixed/mastered too, so the sounds you are hearing have gone through extra processing and will thus hit hard and sound louder...

    yeah Im moving from the mpc 2000XL to reason 3... shits way more effecient, some of that analog umphhh to the beat is gone, but you can run your mix through an analog board and get a good sound... overall Reason 3.0 is as or more (more in my opinion) capable than the mpc's

    Ok, lets say you pitch up a sample/speed it up, its gunna be a different octave than the original sample. now if I have a bass sample loaded up in NNXT or any of the Reason Synths, how do I pitch these instruments differently until they match the tone of the sample? thanks for the help...
