Question For Reason Heads... Important

Whats up? This is Alkota, ive been using an MPC 2000XL to bang out tracks for the last few years, anyways, I got reason 3.04 and an MPD16 and have an important question.

I chopped up a loop in Recycle 2.1, loaded it into Dr. Rex. When I hit the pads on the MPD 16 to trigger the sounds, I have to hold the pad down to play the full "slice"/"sample" vs. just tapping it one time to play the full "slice"/"sample"

How do I trigger the whole "slice"/"sample" by just hitting the pad vs. holding it down?

In the MPC this would equate to hitting a pad set to "mono" vs. "note off".

yea the play to end feature. first off u gotta set the polyphony to one. and i tried turning up the release on the device all the way up. so when i hit a note it plays all the way thru, till i hit another note (thus the polyphony)

Where is the release on Dr. Rex? Sorry, Im lookin for it, but don't see it...

its a slider... labeled "R"... and when u hover over it... it says release. theres two of these release sliders, make sure u only mess with the one on the bottome.
