The only think I can think of is to rewire reason and other program of your choice into pro tools, cubase, etc... Really tough you dont need vsts use the combinator -

Have you checked out the: TAPCO S-5 or TAPCO S-8? They're the same price and imho they are better than m-audio speakers. -
