His music now is pop, but thats because his music is for a wider market, i doubt he is even doing it for the money like most rappers, because he is already making mills off films.

I got the upmost respect for the Fresh Prince, but as for his hiphop carreir (made a mistake on that word, right..) It wasnt the greatest... you gotta admit, all the latest CDs he made were pretty close to garbage...
I mean... Big Willie Style.... Willenium... I know he dont wanna curse on his albums and I also heard that he wants his mom to be able to listen to his CDs, but STiLL, it's wasnt that great at all...

Hope he's gonna come back strong, but I'm pretty sure the CD's gonna be pop and commercial

Like mentioned before, Will Smith did pave the way for a lot of rappers today. He took hip hop to audiences that probably wouldn't have ever heard a rapper before. The only issue I have with Will is for him to publicly say, "I don't curse on my records, I don't shoot nobody on my records," but then turn around and curse and shoot folks in his movies. ???? What's the difference Will? Just my 2 cents.

The cat is a good father a good husband and seems to be a good man. In a hip hop world today where its all guns , bitches, drugs, and forgotten bastard children. He is one of the only cats who is truely "keeping it real" by putting out music that HE wants to make and doing things that HE wants to do, Not following stupid indsutry trends.Regarless if u like his music or not, ur ignorant if u cant respect that..

Thats just a regular synth lead. They use the pitch bend wheel to get the effect. It can be found on anysynth today.
