What beat inspired you to become a producer/beatmaker?

well its not a main stream beat it was a beat by a producer that goes by the name of ricc rude hes signed with rodney jerkins now but this was a while ago it was the beat that is now known as struttin like a g.o.d for busta i heard that and went crazy and was like you gotta teach me he gave me a few pointers and i have been on it ever since since then he did the joe buddens def jam diss cater to you for destiny child and trixx for guerilla black but thats the nigga that got me into it for real

The producer that has the biggest influence on me was Chops (of Mountain Brothers)....since he's Chinese-American...I just thought that it was cool as hell.

When i hit my teens, and started watching Music Videos more regularly..i used to imagine being on these shows and videos..but i wasnt sure my role. And @ the same time my dad is a DJ - so its been in me for a while. But it came out when my dad randomly got "Hip Hop Ejay" and "Dace Ejay" I was putting loops together and it was cool and crappy.

So i got tired of the drum loops and wanted to make my own. Once i learned how with hammer head and FL 2.0(which i still have) I was inspired. But it took 2 years on and off for me to become regular.

March 2003, I officially made full hip hop beats -Between Reason 2.0 and FL 3.4 - I was doing my thing. But i stopped for a while - and didnt pick it up until Spring 2004 - And havent stopped

I don´t know, maybe it´s Mobb Deep´s Shook Ones pt.II, that is the beat that gave some new energy. it didn´t start the whole thing....

That beat is sick. I could listen to the instrumental on repeat for like an hour. Stuope [of Jedi Mind Tricks] has some beats which sound kind of similar. I generally like that style of production...but as I have mentioned before in this topic, no single beat got me into production.
