you guys are right...mixing your music the right way is the key...like some beats in this competition was great but the mix was terrible..like the beats where you barely can hear the drums in the background..that is a terrible mix

Yeah I passed on a better beat because of the mix... it sucks someone did a great job but its like no follow through

it also kinda sucks on the other way too. u know? being able to mix/master is expensive a bit. if u ain't got the gear and ain't got the skill, just leave the beat be or do as slight as u can. cuz u just gonna make shit worse. EQing the highs of your piano to the mountain highs doesn't make it sound "BRIGHT". It's distorted. it sucks.

Yes, but people can check volumes bro.... you do not gotta have expensive shit for that... and there are A LOT of free things to help each sound sound better
