Straight up! The devils been getting at me having me get on this community and not be wrong (there is no right or wrong), but to be controversial about topics I know are sensitive to other people, and do a little boasting because of the skillz I think I have. To all of those that I rubbed the wrong way with the things that I've posted before this post, I apologize!
There is nothing new under the sun
There is no right or wrong because the bottom line is is that it's all sound. Man has minupulated sounds with his voice, with acoustical instruments, electrical instruments and now with the computer he can manipulate sound. The computer is a easier way to manipulate sound, which proves itself easier than mastering every instrument you wish to use in your work.
The devil
He's slicker than any of us and can't be defeated without the help of God.
I say if your using a circular process to make your music, Just keep doin ya thing, some people make it happen using other peoples stuff, some people make it using there own compositions. You have to take this to the next level with whatever you use. In time things will separate themselves. No one will hear five or six versions of your songs through decades, they will be original works by you, until somebody bites your stuff. If you can't make it no other way, make it how you can.
Between being Good or Doo Doo at what you do, it is always every man for himself when being held accountable.
About Me
I am a child of God, I'm good at producing the music in me. I want to pursue a career in producing music, because I love making music 100 times more than I like my current job, though I am more than greatful for it. I hate the fact that nothing positive in hip hop or rap is selling or even being promoted. I Know a gang of tight artist and producers that I went to college with, we all clicked up (EPG), but in different locations right now. I'm trying to get something started in hopes that one person can open the door for alot. I don't like to fact, that to get in good in the game you got to have someone spitting nonsense on your tracks.
I already have fun making music, now it's time to get paid and support my family. Who doesn't want to be paid for something they love to do?
