Recommendation on DJ Controllers for a Beginner

I think Traktor can seem complicated if you get into the loops and clips and all that. But you can easily just simplify the layout and use it just to spin. I started that way and then started getting into effects a bit. I haven't messed with clips much because I don't need them.

What would you reccomend for someone starting out?

@Koey Don't forget you also have to know how to move the knobs while jumping around and doing fist pumps! And wear shades.

Like Fade said, Mixxx is a good starting point. Plus they've got demos of the programs. Not sure how it is with Serato, but Traktor only allows 30 mins per session before it closes on you.
