You got skype?? If you need help with anything just hit me up.Native instruments forums has ton of info also. I've pretty much found an answer to all my questions there. Once you learn the controller and don't even have to look at the software the maschine becomes super efficient.

The ONLY peeve I have with it is the no time stretch thing....once they get that figured out it would be the perfect program.

You can but it's not very elegant.

You do know that this destroys just about ALL of your praise over Maschine don't you? LMAO!

EDIT: And you did all that debating over something that can't time stretch properly? hahaha, I'm starting to think that you like lights more than bacon.

EDIT 2: Seriously, I still like NI though.

You do know that MPC's don't do time stretch, Reason also does not do time stretch (record, recycle do)

Many, MANY production staples do not. I ask again, if you are chopping the sample anyway why do you need time stretch?

You CAN load the sample in to Recycle and bring it back to maschine for time stretching, but why not chop it to change the timing? Honestly time stretch seems like a VERY minor feature to me. But I have little doubt that it will be added.

DP. Because not every sample gets chopped to death.

Sometimes looping is needed. Also...some old school tracks may not be exactly on point...so some may be off... which kinda throws things off a little bit... I was able to work on some, but not all loops that I've loaded into here.

There has been alot of great arguments on this fourm..Mac vs PC... Software vs Hardware....Sampling vs Composing ... Now we can add Maschine vs. MV8000.. Even though only two people are really participating in it

SP's don't have time stretch.

@ dp - lol, man where do you get your info? whoever or whatever told you that...don't believe anything else they tell you. If needed I will copy and paste how to time stretch directly out of the owners manual for you.

@ J Rilla - my part of the Maschine debate is 90% me just giving dp hell because when we were little kids, he killed my dog with a bb gun. I've been paying him back ever since. The other 10% are my real doubts about Maschine itself. The MV-8800 doesn't even compare to Maschine and dp knows that. Like a Ferrari and a go cart, both made to race...just not each other.
