Hip Hop software

I use Logic 5.5 + vst's and Adobe Audition (=CEP 2).
Logic gives you the maximum of freeness for creating your own beats. It's much more complex than fruity loops or some programms like that. You're not limited in producing drums e.g. and the intern effects of logic are really great.
But if you're a hardware freak, maybe you like reason.

Reason 2.5

A lot of people say that Reason is to complicated for the beginner but i'll have to say that i disagree. Before i got reason the only thing that i made a beat on was my playstation with that music maker program(you know what i'm talking about). But after that i jumped strait to Reason. At first i got real pissed off and was like what the hell. But i stuck with it, and i learned a ton in a short amount of time. Now i feel that not only can i do some tight sh*t with software but if you set me down in front of some hardware i could figure it out that much easier. Plus the possiblities in Reason are completely and totally endless. Almost everyday i think of some crazy thing that i can do using the program and the unlimited amount of wires and combination of devices. The only thing that i think is not good about reason is that you can't record into it. That kinda sux but besides that it is truly an amazing program.

But if you're a hardware freak, maybe you like reason.

Actualy it works the other way around, If you're into hardware than Logic is there to create an environment that adapts to your gear, this better than any platform available rightnow. FL implemented a similar feature called the dashboard, but lacks the comfort of handling automation as Logic embedded it in their GUI.

Hip hop software???? No such thing. Besides, the software that's geared toward hip hop have huge limitations due to the horrible stereotypes about hip hop production(my humble opinion).....

I've only used Acid.....Reason was a bit difficult so I lost patience with it........
