A couple things IMO that people should do from now on that could turn everything around, is to stop shootin videos and all that. I know that its all about the money now or whatever and thats good promotion, but videos arte fuckin shit up.
Also, we need more rappers to just get one producer instead of havin 15 different fuckin producers an album. How am i supposed to try and get into the mood or attitude your settin with a completely different style every 3 minutes. Everything sounds like a mixtape now. hip hop is about to get pretty exciting. the new common album is about to drop and most people love it (im not on the "classic" bandwagon, but its a solid album), outkast is *allegedly* dropping their album in june and its supposed to be 10 tracks of rawness.... the platinum pies pipers just dropped a solid album (great beats, vocals im undecided) thats basically slum village reincarnated soundwise...
just blaze and saigon are *supposed* to be doing something special as we speak....

summer has some gems.

all i got to say is, that if hip hop is mainly recieved by the gossip mills, 106 and park, the source/xxl, or the rumors.... then yeah you arent going to get much thats exciting.

To me Hip-Hop is getting better and better since I'm still searching through the underground and everyday, I find a dope new artist that I haven't listened to yet.
