Sounds reversed to me. Plus filtering for that old tape type of vibe.
I thought it was reversed at first too but it's not... just some effects. i remade the beat just can't get the effects right. i'm on beatmaker 3 on ipad not many effects to useLike Yannfer said, it sounds reversed. I also hear some kind of delay effect as well.
Maybe a tiny touch of distortion and some saturation too, but I'd have to hear the original.
I listened to the song that was sampled ("Girl Blue") and you're right. I think it just sounds reversed because of the way it was chopped.I thought it was reversed at first too but it's not... just some effects. i remade the beat just can't get the effects right. i'm on beatmaker 3 on ipad not many effects to use
yup one of the chops makes it sound reversed. maybe reverb and there's definitely a low pass... thanks for the VST's i'll check those outI listened to the song that was sampled ("Girl Blue") and you're right. I think it just sounds reversed because of the way it was chopped.
I think the effect you're talking about is just some type of funky delay.
I'm not familiar with Beatmaker 3, but if you can use 3rd party vst's I would try using Valhalla Supermassive or Valhalla Frequency echo. They are both free.
It sounds like they automated a low pass, pitched it down, (possibly gated it?) and put flanger on it.now i'm trying to figure out how exactly they did the low pass at 0:18
just gonna do a low pass and pitch it down, i have no idea how to do the rest lolIt sounds like they automated a low pass, pitched it down, (possibly gated it?) and put flanger on it.
Just give it your best bro! It doesn't have to be dead on. Just get it as close as you can and I'm sure it will sound awesome.
