dude the resell value of mac are MUCH higher a 5 year old mac still goes for a good price where and 5 year old PC will not. Repair Disk Permissions is not defraging and you usually don't need to do it. The mac file system does not fragment like windows files system does. As said Linux does not...- thedreampolice

lol right on "PC's are good for people that can maintain a PC or aren't afraid to learn how to do it." What about code bloat, I know how to maintain a PC and after about a year of use it is running slower and slower, then I have to clean the registry clear the cache's defrag scan, blah blah...- thedreampolice

dude its not cheaper. As I said before if you buy the ram and hard drives from somewhere other than Apple they are the same price. dupe get a couple Altiverbs, a few instances of Eleven, 50+ tracks with Bomb factor on each track. Velvet, Reason and Battery running at once and it would take that system down.- thedreampolice
