    Your motif doesn't happen to have a USB plug on it does it? If not it did NOT work both ways in your old set up. With one cable you can either play sounds in FL on the motif keys or you can trigger sounds on the motif. But maybe a USB cable was taking the part of the midi cables?

    Nope, if you need to trigger sounds in the motif you need a cable from midi out on the interface to midi in on the motif. Did you buy it from Sweetwater? If so call there tech support and they will hook you up!

    check the steinberg site for updated for cubase. The audio outs of the motif go to the audio ins on the interface. The midi sounds right to me.

    You may try and use ASIO4ALL but your best bet is to get a USB audio interface. Also what are you sampling from? If it is a turntable then you need to get the signal up to line level and that would take a preamp, so spend like $100 and get a USB interface.

    Go glyph they are the ONLY drive made for audio. And they do all kinds of things to the drive in make it work better in that setting. Also if the drive crashes they will try and recover the data for free. No one else does that!
