    WIN7 only sees 4gb as well unless you get win7 64bit. But sorry FL studio is a 32bit app so no matter what you do, you wont get 8gb of ram on FL

    Thats cool, I am not hating. I was more curious what in particular about those videos got someone excited. And yea the portable thing is cool. BPM and Maschine can be set up like an ASR BTW.

    after you said that I watched the videos and man I don't get it. It brings nothing to the table that Maschine, BPM, MV8800 or even Reason 5 don't already do. Not really impressed, maybe the workflow is just awesome. Also I love the Sweetwater shout out at the end :)

    Ok thats a bunch of questions, let me see Pro tools is notoriously bad about this, Logic would give you better performance. But again there are good reasons to use Pro tools and you know what they are so no need to rehash that. Xp can see just under 4gb of ram so it will not make the best...

    Use compressor by Apple, if you have Logic or Final cut you have it. It will make life much easier.
