ok you need to update to the latest version of Pro tools and I believe it is 8.04 this is crucial! Second what Maudio interface do you have? Well you cant actually record to MP3 as it HAS to record to wav and then convert. It could do it on the fly, but I have to ask why would you do it that way? Man thats slow, what not just rip the parts you want? Better quality and less errors.- thedreampolice
