No he doesnt use ghost producers, believe it or not I actually know all the gear in his studio from my inside sources ha ha
on the latest record he did collab with a bunch of other producers such as the RZA, Primo even Pete Rocks talks about how Kayne makes Pete's beats even better
Are you...
yea and it would make him an eternal legend!
But honestly you should check out his stuff, he is really brilliant despite all the crazy public stuff. He is still making real hip-hop and is a wicked good producer.
Just listen to what he say's in his songs. Talk's about having a beautiful death, and being the greatest rapper of all time in 5 years. Well what is the fast track to do that?
ha ha anyway I am probably way off, but he is just crazy enough to do it.
Yea the SP808 is nice, the biggest problem with Roland stuff in general is there learning curve and UI's. Once you learn them they are powerful but it is not intuitive at first.
I have nothing but love for the Roland units, but I don't think of them as "classic" hip-hop box's, pretty much the MPC60,3000,2000 fill those then of course the SP1200. Maybe an 808 could be a classic hip-hop box as well. ha ha
Well you need a new soundcard no matter what, so grab a USB box and try it. See if it doesnt help your situation. I bet it will solve your problem. Then you can spend the money on something else.
Wow, I am actually losing sleep over selling my vinyl. I cant do it, I just love vinyl. WOW But the amps are gone ha ha.
Interestingly enough my Stanton 120 has been acting up for months and suddenly it started working perfectly ha ha guess it knew that it was shape up or ship out lol.
Dude it has been a while, but I don't remember a SP 1200 having time stretch and a google search does not turn up anything.
In fact here is the feature list, I don't see it there either
