    I wish I could vote on more than one! @Rav I have never had a hangover either, and boy can I drink. As far as I understand it it has to do with hydration, being hung over is basically extreme dehydration. I drink so much water, even when I am drinking it seems to keep me hydrated.

    yea albums where mixed totally different 20 years ago, to get even close to a radio ready sound of today we need a bit more juice. But I also use compressors for tone shaping and for new york compression.

    Vinyl samples need some compression yes. @Dac ok so you don't work with vocalist, you need compression for that. But honestly, I use compressors on literally every track, and every instrument.
