If you got other bass sounds and drums in tha piano melody you want, yer basically fucked...When u say clean it up a bit, what do u mean exactly? - If you mean eliminate tha drums and bass...thats a no-no, but if you want to give yer sample more presence you can drop a EQ on it and scan tha... -

Hey thanks Form, that was pretty useful!....Is that what u do often? - EQ each individual hit?....I usually jus add some tone or tha parametric EQ on occasion...but now im temped to drop a EQ on every sound in tha kit to see what happens? Also, i like to have various Kicks, hihats... -

Yeah, basically i would have said just about tha same shit as everyone else....Butta, i suggest that if you have tha ability sample vinyl vs cd's for drums then do so....Theres somethin about vinyl that preserves this beautiful low end in tha kicks thats jus uncomparable to cd or anything else... -

What to Look For When Shopping For Vinyls to Sample
As long as it says 1-2 dollars thats all that really matters...I like to pick out tha obscure ones tho to be specific...I like tha ones that look hella vintage, and i try to stay away from anything relatively new....Lots of tha time, i also tend to dig for old radio broadcasts and old brass shit.
