MPC 1000 with Reason 2.5

What up fam,
Now I know I can hook up the MPC 1k to my computer with the usb cable. I am wondering though if I can use the mpc and reason 2.5 together. If not, what software can i use the mpc with to track beats and do some mixing and mastering?

Yo i know you can do that cuz tha Grouch does that now with his setup...Id do some google searching and check out yer manual for tha 1000....It should respond like a midi if it works with reason...Did you have to install drivers in tha computer for tha 1000? - Heres a guess - go to prefs in reason and then select midi - you should be able to select your 1000 in tha midi menu if tha computer sees it and tha drivers have been installed. Then it should work most likely?

I can't do that cuz i dont have 1000 yet. I'ma get it and now i wanna find out how I can use it in the best way possible with my software.
