dont use headphones, the reason being is the frequency response, a mixdown should always be done on monitors that have a good frequency range. the car issue is common and it comes with practice, most tracks need to be engineered correctly to sound good in a car to a home system. -

?! Midi Problem n FL Studio
you probley want to use midi over usb. usb is really only good for direct connections to the computer, midi would be for device to device. i dont know about FL all to much but try everything possible your bound to figure it out. -
