need some help with combinator

ok, so i just got reason from a friend and everything is pretty straight foward, basically im rewiring it with fl, and i always thought that the combinator you could add your own instruments together, but it looks like it already has premade combinator patches, say i want to combine a couple of nnxt patches and malestrom patches, how would i go about that?

Create>Combo
Create>Mixer- inside combo
Create>NNXT
Create>NNXT
load the patches and tada!

Create a combinator in your rack. When you do it doesn't have anything preloaded. You should see a rectangle at the bottom with a red line. Right click in there and you can create as many modules inside as you would like. They will automatically be wired but sometimes they are not wired the way you want to use them. If you don't have any experience wiring up diff't hardware you may have a hard time figuring out how the modules need to be wired to get the effect you want. I suggest you look at how things are wired in some of the factory combinator patches to get some ideas.

www.letscreatemusic.com has a great (free) tutorial to set up a template that you can bring up everytime you want to start a new project. i used it when i was just starting with beatmaking.

an easier way...create all the modules you need...for example: create>mixer, create>NNXT, create>NNXT, create>malstrom..do it in that order...or whatever order you like but just start with the mixer....then hold cntrl, or it may be shift...either or of the 2 and single left click on each of those modules you want to be combinated to highlight them (you will get a red box around the ones selected) then right click anywhere within all the modules you have selected and click "combine".........DONE

its hold "Shift". Good point I forgot about that one!
