    i look at it as if i'm in a band and i'm the drummer. the bass kick is dead center with the vocals. the snare a little to the left. the hihats futher to the left. then i just place the other instruments somewhere out of the way. the bass usually dead center with the bass kick though.

    i'm lucky. my wife actually understands my lust for music. she's my biggest supporter. she can sing too, so i got her to sing on a couple tracks. she wants me to teach her how to emcee and produce. i don't think i'm ready to tackle that role though. spouse and teacher are a rough combo to balance.

    if so. which ones? i know i had hit up as many as i can find. ughh.com sphere of hip hop neblina records soundclick rapstation hiphopelements trickology illmuzik is still the best though. there is alot more maturity here.

    basically you put the financial, marketing, manufacturing, and distribution power of a major label behind your small label and work out better in the end. you can reach more people and make more money theoretically.

    the one good quality was the grimeyness you could achieve. i would buy another one if i could get it for 40 bucks or cheaper. seen them on ebay for 150 or more. not worth it to me.

    as far as uk hip hop. i like roots manuva, ty, pentalk, and task force. don't get to hear alot of uk hip hop though. kind of hard to find.
