    how to record tracks/vocals?

depends on your soundcard, basic sound blasters do mono and professional cards do stereo. Verses and choruses are seperated on thier own tracks, along with doubling and adlibs. in reality though thats just a concept idea cause everyone has thier own idea and methods for recording.

Roland Fantom-S 61-Key Sampling Music Workstation

It suppose to be a really good keyboard and competes well with the triton and motif. Triton, Motif, or Fantom -S which everone you get you will be happy. They all have one thing better than the other. One thing i would like to mention is that a lot of people that are acustom to using FL and...

LOL! Krzy K you got me wrong dude, i own and run my own studio. I have vast experience with hardware. What im trying to get is why people would connect an mpc or a triton to FL. For instance an mpc is a sequencer / sampler , and is considered one of the best, why would one connect a sequencer /...

    Explain this to me

rarely i hear of people using a combination of say FL and some external hardware. I understand people using fl with sound modules and such, but im really confused when i hear people say they have an mpc, or sp1200, or asr-10, or a triton connected to FL. To me this makes absoluetly no sense...

What is essential for a computer studio on a buget of $650

6 speakers is kind of odd to me but its not like you wont be able to make beats. I think as long as no surround sound or dobly digital surround sound or any type of surround sound feature on your amp or reciever is switched on, 6 speakers shouldn't give you problems.

    mpc's

For me it was the feel of "grooving with your beats." load your samples and kits, loop your sample, and rock your drums over it while recording. It was fun and different for every beat i made. Programming my drums was my main concern, i just had issues with software, i wasn't feeling it i guess...

What is essential for a computer studio on a buget of $650

I think some cats need to go back to school and learn how to read. anyways mixing is always better with two monitors but "IS POSSIBLE" with one. A lot of people mix with headphones too and the result is good enough. I think at this point the guy is starting out in music production, 650...
