    How many tracks?

Yes, if I am using 100+ tracks its full orchestration. For the average hip-hop song including vocals I am usually 20-30 tracks personally and that's considered pretty minimal.

    How many tracks?

The amount of tracks in a song and the amount of instruments can vary greatly. Are we talking about the same thing here? For example a kick drum could take up 5 or more tracks but still be one instrument.

    How many tracks?

I took his master class never saw him using three tracks ever. I’m all for minimalism for sure, but commercial hip hop requires quite a bit. That being said I have done whole records with four. Hell sargent pepper is one of the greatest records ever made and it was four tracks.

    How many tracks?

If I’m doing orchestration I can easily get up to 200 tracks. For hip hop I have done plenty with 4 tracks. I probably average around 20-30 for a hip hop song.

Who do YOU think are the best Hip Hop producers of all-time?

Kanye pushed hip hop forward in the 2000's Dre did it in the 90's I think the impact of those two on hip hop was the greatest. Of course, I love Pete Rock and Alchemist but their music did drive the whole decade. Like Kanye's and Dre's did.

Yea I’m calling spam here. On top of that MuseScore is amazing but it’s notation software, not really for making beats at all.

Tell Me - Is Sonar capable of competing with ProTools?

Talk about bringing back an old thread, but we know who won this battle. Sonar is a dead product even with band labs involvement and pro tools still rules the world.

Dude preach. I could not agree with you more. The republicans and democrats can keep fucking us over because we are too busy fighting with each other over stupid bullshit. WE are in this together. We should be helping each other. Then we would see some change.
