Reason users--What method do you use?
i have all my sounds and refills on cds and copies on my hard drive, but i save all my .rns files and wavs on a zip drive. they are bulky and dont have alot of storage but ive always been a little old school -

yea, i have been asked to make beats that have the same type of sound as other producers. what i do is just listen to beats by the said artist and try to get a feel for their sound and what kinds of instruments they use, from there i just go at it, but dont try to force a certain sound out, just... -

best way of importing and working with samples in FL Studio??
yea, it makes its own chops, but you can adjust in the slicer how spread out the chop are. slicer can get pretty crazy with its chops so you can adjust it to chop every 1/8th, 1/16th....etc. thats the only thing i use when i sample with fruity -

the way i usually do it is take the sample and load it through the fruity slicer. thats the best way for me to do it, then i have every little part of each peice i chop up or i can just play the whole peice out in piano roll -

Reason Users: What bass patches do you use?
