Getting bass from samples
it will work with some samples. cut out the highs and mids and turn up the low end until you get it how you want it. but i like playing the bass myself if i can. -

Midi out doesnt produce sound
all the settings seem to be fine, it worked fine but then i reformatted my hard drive. ever since the new install it hasnt worked, could this be a plug-in problem? -

When i try to use the midi out channel and use one of the preset channels i cant get any sound. when i press a key it recognizes it but i dont get any sound. anyone have any ideas? oh yea im running fl 4. -

i have tried to sample really heavy metal guitar samples, you can find awesome samples but the hardest part for me was to try and get those drums out. the best samples that i found had the heavy metal drums in them too and thats just not the sound i want for a hip hop song. so for me thats the... -

ive been looking into alot of anime theme songs, they have that hyper synth vibe with alot of sound effects. its kinda hard to sample but if you can pull it off it would probably sound pretty tight -

Tracking songs in Acid?? Please Help
^^^ hes got it right there. I had to track out a beat in acid before, it actually made it a little easier to locate my sounds in the track. export each pattern as a .wav file. hi-hats, snares, kicks would all need to be separate files. Then you go out put them in acid basically the same way... -
