reason for lack of good beats in showcases
I check out pretty much every showcase, I always see people who dont leave feedback, its usally people who are farely new here. It doesnt really piss me off but i always wanna say something. yea i was using audition to record, i could hear over my speakers just fine, but it wouldnt record when i would try, i checked my windows mixer and the only thing selected to record was the microphone so i switched it to line in, hopefully that will help -

try adding underlying melodies that compliment the main melody so you have more depth or maybe add some more percussion. you can find some great free loops on the internet... or sample some records -

i know that if you go into reason and load the nnxt or nn19 and use the BRASSENS patch from the factory sound bank in the NN19 folder, you can tweak that with some filters to make it sound damn near exactly the same -
