    Wow, that's insane. It was kinda hard to hear the arguement and what was goin on, but when they were explaining what happened before and after, it made me want to really sign up with a publishing company. But do they actually care if I don't have a complete track done like emcee + me?

    LOL, I don't even eat breakfast in the morning man. But on a serious note, I didn't mean to make it look like I was puttin him down, I was just stating the fact that he should of read up on it or learned more about it through other people before he actually bought it haha.

    Yeah, the thing that samples have that a keyboard can't have is that live feel cuz most of the samples we hear were recorded live so it sounds better. And I wasn't really feelin sampling when I first started creating beats because it made me feel like a biter, using someone elses hard working...

    Yeah, I get that problem too sometimes when I right click on the key. I forget how to do it but once I get home and actually have FL in front of me, i'll help you out, but first check if you got your MIDI settings right.

    Bass Question

    Alright thanks. I got it now, it's just hard sometimes to find good Hip-Hop bass that suits a track well, ya know? Cuz a lot of the bass sounds have that real audible pluck so it's hard to find that one bass that suits the track and doesn't have that pluck.

    Not using quanitze in your beats.

    No quanitizing makes everything seem more realistic, I think that's a part of what was messin up my beats. I didn't even know what the swing did until a couple weeks ago and I had it on 100%.
