Hey y'all. I'm interested in taking some voice mails from my cell phone and recording them onto my computer and puttin em over a beat. Anyone do this successfully and have tips or pointers? -

Hello, I'm okay wtih mastering on a song by song basis. However when you're doing an entire album, is it wise to use one final limiter with the same setting across all songs to give it some sort of a cohesion as a whole? -

Really, my main backgroud music is John Williams. I got the Star Wars soundtrack on vinyl on XMAS in 1977, listened to that all the time. Sounds like it's at the wrong sample rate, convert it in wavelab first, make sure it's at 44.1khz/16bit (or 24bit)...
