Nuendo question

When I import a sound effect for or any audio file in fact..i play it and its automatically sped up...im new to Nuendo so what is the problem?

Sounds like it's at the wrong sample rate, convert it in wavelab first, make sure it's at 44.1khz/16bit (or 24bit)...

ya Nuendo should convert audio on the fly. The sample rate should not matter. It sounds like a tempo issue.

I had this problem with Cubase.
It only happened with some samples, so I couldn't do shit about it except time stretch.

Sound likes it's playing the sample at Nuendos preset tempo which is probably 120bpm. U may have to set Nuendos tempo before you import the sample in the way that you are. Acid Pro does that to me depending on how I import the sample. When I bypass the beat mapper is when it usually speeds shit up. Adjust Neundos tempo to the samples original tempo or the tempo that you're going to use the sample and you should be str8.
