3 months no beat makin
that happened to me. i tried so hard to make a new beat, for the longest time, but nothing hit me. producer's block. i guess only time will tell. i just got hit with this huge wave of inspiration and made an awesome beat after that block. patience? i dunno. -
EQ'in in nuendos
hmmm if it's hiss, then you gotta have some noise absorption, such as a room with a lot of furniture, or studio foam, or the mic sucks the m-audio fw solo may give the recording a crappy sound. EQ'ing it if the vocal is recorded poorly won't do much. have you tried positioning your... -

Will a new Sound Card Make a Difference?
but even though you have a good sound card, FL Studio isn't the best at giving you great sounds. the defaults are crap as you probably know. i don't think i use default FL Studio sounds ever. -
Completely New at FL
like everyone else says i n a nutshell, PLAY AROUND. play around with it. nothing else will improve your skills. it's like that with anything. the only reason i know so much about FL, and it's not even that much because FL can be amazingly complicated, is because i spent hours just playing... -
Saving VST's as they are in FL6?
i don't think anything can be done to save the settings unless in Edirol or Sampletank, there is a preset saving feature, which i highly doubt there are. -

like what AKP said, don't delete a beat, because inspiration might come back later. i've come back to many an unfinished beat, and made it into a beauty, but back then i wasn't feeling it -
